Industrial Exhaust System – Manufacturing Facility
The Challenge
A heavy manufacturing facility was adding a new production line that required significant exhaust ventilation for heat and fume removal. The project required 2,400 linear feet of heavy-gauge exhaust ductwork routed through an operating production area with coordination across multiple trades, tight overhead clearances, and a fast-track schedule to support the client's production startup deadline.
Our Solution
Hudson delivered the complete exhaust duct system on a fast-track schedule. We coordinated duct routing with structural, electrical, and process equipment. We fabricated 2,400 linear feet of heavy-gauge (12- to 16-gauge) rectangular exhaust ductwork and installed it in phases over 8 weeks to work around production schedules. Daily coordination with plant operations avoided conflicts with crane usage and material flow.
Results
On-time completion supporting the production line startup. The system performed as designed, providing proper exhaust airflow and heat removal. Zero safety incidents over the 8-week installation period.
